This week is a little different; we’ll be doing synchronous meetings on Monday to talk about the final project.

Monday

• Check in on Blackboard.
• Before you join the meeting, read the Final Project Guidelines.
• Attend the meeting for the small project that you will be expanding into your final project.
  • Schedule for synchronous meetings (on Blackboard Collaborate Ultra):
    • 1:30-2:00: Audio project
    • 2:00-2:30: Timeline project
    • 2:30-3:00: StoryMap project

Wednesday

• Check in on Blackboard.
• Listen to today’s podcast, with special guest host Caitlin Hartweave, or read the transcript.

• Discuss in your groups:

  • How did war affect those who weren’t fighting? What costs did non-combatants feel?
  • Why do you think women got involved in the war effort? How do these motivations change over time? Do they vary depending on the war?
