- Using the same number of events, how would you answer the question “What did you do in the last year?”
Small Project #5
- Using TimelineJS, build a timeline of your war. You can focus on any part of the war; you just need to be able to justify your choices.
- You need no fewer than 5 and no more than 15 events.
- Publish your timeline to your blog along with a paragraph explaining why you made the choices you did.
- Watch this screencast to find out how to build a timeline.
Wednesday–Professionalization and Exploration
For today we’re trying something different: you don’t have to listen to me at all! Hooray!
-
Check in on Blackboard.
-
I want you to watch these videos about our topics for today:
Professionalization:
Exploration:
and
- In your group, discuss how professionalization and exploration connect to each other. Elect a spokesperson to report out to the #week10 channel.
- Finally, check in on #online-learning. Report about how your semester is going. Have you been able to establish a routine? How are your professors doing? How are you doing?
Bonus Activity: Look at these pieces of art from Alfred Agate, a member of the U.S. Ex.Ex. Can you use one of these pieces of art as a jumping-off point for a piece of your own artwork? Or can you make a piece of art about something in your house that mimics the style of this art (an ethnographic study of your surroundings)?
If you do it, post it in the #week10 channel so we can all see it!
