It’s our last day of class! We made it!
Please make careful note of what needs to be done to finish our semester strong.
By Monday evening, please:
- Post your show notes as a blog post on our WordPress site. Don’t hit publish yet; I’ll do that once I’ve got all our episodes ready to go and I can embed a player in each post.
- Give me any edits/suggestions you have about the draft of your episode. If you don’t have an episode draft to listen to yet, it’s probably because you haven’t given me all your stuff yet. I need that. Now. Yesterday. A week ago. RIGHT NOW.
- Answer the Slack poll about your availability for a launch party!
- Send me a 5-minute recording of you talking about how the semester went. What did you learn from this class? What was the hardest part? What do you feel proudest of? Was this a complete waste of your time? You can send your recording to me via email or DM in Slack. Consider this your wrap-up blog post, only in audio form. Please do this.
The goal is to have all of the episodes ready to go by the end of this week, depending on how fast I can work. You may be thinking, but our final exam period is before the end of this week. Correct. I’ll be communicating with each of you individually about your grades. In fact, I’ll probably have your grades posted before I’m done editing our podcast episodes.
I know I’ve said this a zillion times, but I want to say it once again: I’m really proud of you all. This was an incredibly difficult class to do remotely, and I think we’ve risen to the challenge. Thanks for a fun semester.
